I worked up a new project for the DIGITS exhibit at the DVAA in Narrowsburg, NY. The piece has a high intensity beam light located on the New York side of the Delaware River. An Arduino is used to make the light flash Morse code. On the PA side of the river is a screen playing video of the river, the site of the screen and an office interior with a lone worker. A computer using a web cam and Isadora plays the video. When the Isadora patch ‘sees’ the light it triggers audible Morse code and wiped the video image off the screen.
You can read more about the piece and see samples here.
